3. Do not labour for the food which perishes, but for the food which ensures to eternal life, which the son of man will give to you. For on him has God the father set his seal.
John 6:27
THE MESSAGE
The need for us to be aware that this earthly food is perishable, we should hunger more for the food which ensures to eternal life which is made manifest in the word of God. Thus, we are called to abandon the life that is corrupt and embrace the life of Righteousness and Holiness.
